PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND POSITION PURPOSE:
As a Banquet Servers, you’re responsible for meeting and exceeding theexpectations of all guests. The banquet Server is responsible primarily forassisting in serving, setting up, and clean-up of all functions. This isa fast-paced position that will involve constant interaction with guests.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Knowledgeof event menu items and their contents with appropriate table settings,service ware, and the correct preparation and garnishing methods.
- Abilityto follow directions from banquet event orders.
- Responsiblefor setting up, serving, maintaining, and breaking down banquet rooms.
- Abilityto carry large and heavy trays on a continuous basis throughout shift.
- Ensureall equipment and decor is kept in excellent working conditionthrough personal inspection and reporting to Banquet and Event manager orCaptain on duty if it is not.
- Fosteropportunities for the team to learn, grow, and develop their abilities,collaborate with your peers to create a culture and work environmentfounded on respect,
- Respondquickly to requests from guests, supervisors, or management in a timely,friendly and efficient manner.
- Fullyunderstands and follows all regulations that pertain to health, andsafety, requirements of the banquets department, employees, and guests.
- Followsup with guests to ensure satisfaction of needs.
- Maintainssecurity of equipment, keys, and supplies issued each day.
- Reportsmissing articles, damage or mechanical problems from equipment, and anysort of structural damage to the hotel in all areas of the lodge and thebanquet department.
- Alwaysprovides a professional image through appearance and dress.
- Isable and willing to go long periods of time without sitting. Can maintainthe positions need continuous movement, bending, and lifting.
- Keepsa positive attitude with guests, peers, and management to ensure a goodenvironment for all.
- Followscompany policies and procedures and other duties as assigned bysupervisor, or manager.

- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beveragesand knowledge of Montana state laws.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to developrelationships and foster cooperation.
- Ability to build strong relationships.
- Successful track record in professionally addressing & resolvingdifficult and challenging issues at all levels.
