Job summary

The Lodge at Whitefish Lake, a premier Averill Hospitality Resort, is seeking Seasonal Bartenders to join our Food & Beverage Team. Earn $15 hourly plus tips at the Boat Club, our lakefront restaurant with mountain views.

Qualifications

• The candidate must have 2+ years of bartending experience.

• The role requires TIPS and Food Handler certifications.

Responsibilities

• Take drink orders at guest greeting and deliver beverages.
• Maintain a well-stocked and clean bar.
• Provide exceptional service and menu knowledge.
• Assist guests with food pairing and upsell beverages.

The Lodge at Whitefish Lake, one of Montana's AAA Four Diamond resorts, is seeking Seasonal Bartenders to work with our Food & Beverage Team $15 hourly + Tips. From classic stirred cocktails to seasonal creations! Our lakefront restaurant, the Boat Club, is a refined, low-lit restaurant overlooking surrounding mountains and Whitefish Lake. PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND POSITION PURPOSE:

The Bartender is to create the finest experiences for our guests,provide exceptional service and create a connection with our guests withwarmth, energy, teamwork, and professionalism.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintaina professional image.
• Maintain professional working relationships.
• Collects payment for food and beverage services.
• Follow company cash handling and accountingprocedures.
• Provide exceptional service experience.
• Excellent product knowledge.
• Guides guests in selecting food and beverage items.
• T.I.P.S.Certification
• Notify manager of unhappy guests.
• Perform assigned side workduties.
• Assist manager/chefs as directed.
• Take drink orders at guest greeting, deliver beveragesand offer appetizers. Take entire order, write down order, andrepeat order to guest for clarification.
• Understand proper food storage and sanitationprocedures.
• Accurately measures liquor, beer, and wine pours.
• Must memorize the specialty house cocktail ingredientsand make a consistent drink.
• Have good knowledge of products including liquor, beerand wine we offer.
• Keep a well-stocked and clean bar.

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience.
• POS system competency and Aloha and Open Table
• Be able to lift to 30 lbs.
• Ability to carry a tray of food and a tray of drinks.
• Able to manage unsatisfactory guest experience and notifymanager.
• Able to hear guests’ orders and needs amidst loudbackground noise.
• Stand for 6-to-8-hour shift.
• Multitask under stress.
• Be organized and remain calm during shift.
• Needs full knowledge of the lunch and dinner menu as wellas the wine list and cocktails that are offered at the Boat Club.

EXPERIENCE/ LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES

• 2+ years of experience.
• TIPSand Food Handler Certifications required.

SCHEDULE AND BENEFITS:

The Bartender’s schedule can be flexible with part- andfull-time opportunities. Working evenings, weekends and holidays may berequired.
