Job summary

Columbia Hospitality, Inc. is seeking a Banquet Server-Set Crew at Kitsap Conference Center in Bremerton, WA. You will serve food and beverages with attention to detail, assist with room setups and teardown, and ensure timely delivery and presentation to guests.

Qualified candidates have prior serving experience, knowledge of dining and beverage service procedures, and familiarity with liquor laws. State Food Handler’s License and Liquor Permit are required; weekend availability is expected.

• Previous experience as server in a similar environment.
• Working knowledge of dining and beverage service procedures.
• Knowledge of applicable liquor laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Serves food and beverage items to guests in accordance with established standards
• Communicates any special requests to the culinary team
• Assembles food items, such as appetizers, salads and soups as needed
• Ensures attractive, consistent presentation of food and beverages and proper temperatures
• Keeps work area and guest dining area clean and organized
• Must be able to lift 25-50lbs and assist with room setups and teardown

• Ensures attractive, consistent presentation of food and beverages. Ensures that all food and beverage items are served at the correct temperature
• Maintains current knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including menu changes
• Sets and tears down rooms. Must be able to lift 25-50lbs.
• Keeps work area, including guest dining area, clean and organized

What You Bring

• Previous experience as server in a similar environment
• Ability to perform essential functions on the job
• Working knowledge of dining and beverage service procedures
• Working knowledge of applicable liquor laws and regulations
• Necessary State Food Handler’s License(s) and Liquor Serving Permit(s)
• Must be able to work week days and weekends
• On-call work means varied schedules weekly
