Come and join our team at this 605-room convention center hotel in the heart of downtown Oklahoma City. Our luxury hotel is located next to the Paycom Center (OKC Thunder), the Oklahoma Convention Center, and across the street from the 70-acre Scissortail Park.

The property includes an all-day dining outlet (Seltzer's Modern Diner), an entertainment sports bar (OKC Tap House), a specialty restaurant (Bob's Steak & Chop House), a coffee shop (Park Grounds), and a retail outlet (RareBird Gift Shop). Guests can enjoy Mokara Spa, a fitness center, and a rooftop pool and bar (CatBird Seat) with a fire pit, outdoor lawn, and cabanas. The hotel offers 76,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including a 20,000 square foot ballroom, a 10,000 square foot ballroom, and a 4,200 square foot outdoor pre-function space overlooking the park.

Job Description

The Omni Oklahoma City Hotel is seeking a guest-focused On Call Banquet Server to join our upscale hotel team. This role ensures all food and beverage service for banquet functions is served on time and maintains Omni's professional standards.

Responsibilities

1. Perform all banquet side work as designated by the Banquet Captain and/or Banquet Managers.
2. Efficiently perform all service standards.
3. Maintain overall presentation of banquet functions, including ensuring linens, chairs, floors, walls, windows, and centerpieces are clean and well-arranged.
4. Attend to guest needs during functions and related duties.
5. Report any housekeeping or equipment repair needs to the Banquet Manager.
6. Adhere to all liquor liability laws.
7. Attend all pre-meal meetings.
8. Follow all details on Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
9. Set tables to specifications, carry trays, and provide excellent customer service.
10. Complete banquet consumption sheets as directed.
11. Participate in department meetings and required training.
12. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Previous serving and guest service experience required; experience in four-star/four-diamond hotels is preferred.
• Current TIPS, ServSafe, or equivalent alcohol training required.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Adherence to compensation acknowledgment and tip reporting guidelines.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and maintain a friendly demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
• Consistently demonstrate teamwork and a positive attitude.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for full shifts.
• Ability to walk, push, pull, stoop, bend, and lift items of moderate weight (up to 30 lbs).
