The Banquet Server is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external customers. Responsibilities include table setup, beverage preparation, food service, and cleaning tables during convention functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, positively interacting with guests and staff, and handling difficult situations with resilience.
• Set tables and prepare beverages and condiments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas.
• Collaborate with other service personnel to ensure high-quality service.
• Anticipate guest needs, ensure satisfaction, and address complaints efficiently.
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to sanitation and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience carrying large trays with at least ten covers.
• Knowledge of wine service and table etiquette.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to operate equipment such as chafing dishes, plate warmers, coffee urns, and hot boxes.
• Ability to inspect and maintain assigned areas.
• Effective movement around banquet areas.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Ability to review and understand documentation.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts.
• Indiana ABC Liquor License required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain necessary licenses and certifications.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
