Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a friendly banquet server to support on-site events with attentive hospitality and teamwork.

Responsibilities include following event instructions, setting up banquet spaces, assisting with service, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Minimum six months in service is required; knowledge of catering basics is helpful. Compensation is $20–$21 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months minimum work experience in a service-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of catering services and terminology.
• Strong guest service skills.
• Ability to get along well with others.
• Ability to receive and carry out instructions in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Report for work in proper uniform according to the scheduled time.
• Follow instructions for each event as given by the Food & Beverage Manager and/or Banquet Captain.
• Assist with collecting all banquet equipment including flatware, china, glassware and serving pieces.
• Prepare garnishes, beverages, condiments and breads as needed.
• Assist with cleaning and filling salt and pepper containers, sugar dishes, creamer, etc.
• Prepare and set up event room when necessary and arrange tables with place settings.
• Attend pre-function meetings for briefing of event details.
• Provide friendly and courteous customer service at all times.
• Remain at assigned station and perform duties as assigned.
• Report customer concerns to Banquet Captain and address promptly.
• Break down tables and banquet equipment after each event.
• Return serving pieces to proper storage area and adhere to grooming standards.
