Job summary

Gun Lake Casino Resort in Wayland, MI is seeking a professional Banquet Server to provide AAA-level service across Food & Beverage venues. The on-call position demands efficient, courteous guest interactions and accurate order input.

Key duties include greeting guests, taking and delivering orders, pre-busing, and maintaining clean, organized dining stations. Must know menu items, handle allergens, upsell, and uphold safety and grooming standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of serving experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Must possess and demonstrate Alcohol Awareness (TIPS) certification (training provided if needed).
• Must be able to obtain a gaming license with Gun Lake Tribal Gaming Commission.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests and take food and beverage orders in a timely, courteous manner.
• Input accurate orders and coordinate with back of house for prompt delivery.
• Deliver food and beverages to Guests and assist with any special requests.
• Pre-bus tables and maintain cleanliness of dining areas and stations.
• Maintain knowledge of menu, features, beverages, and upselling opportunities.
