Colonial Heritage Club is seeking a Banquet Server to ensure a welcoming experience for members and guests at events. You will greet guests, assist with seating, and guide them through menus and wine lists while maintaining professional service standards.

Responsibilities include taking orders, coordinating with kitchen and bar, presenting wine, and handling payments. A team-oriented, calm, and reliable attitude is essential for success at events.

Qualifications

• Restaurant or banquet experience is preferred, but training is provided.
• Knowledge of state liquor laws and how to check IDs.
• Friendly, professional demeanor with guests.
• Organized, dependable, and able to stay calm when plans change.
• Team player who helps out without being asked.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, assist seating, and guide them through menus and daily specials.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay to kitchen and bar.
• Check plates before serving and coordinate with kitchen to fix issues.
• Present and pour wine and champagne correctly.
• Keep drinks filled, suggest desserts, and anticipate guest needs.
• Handle checks, payments and receipts, and close out daily sales.
• Clear and reset tables, keep area clean, and assist with closing duties.
• Answer the phone and support the team as needed.
