Job summary

Palette Hotels is seeking a Banquet Server to deliver and serve food and beverages at events, ensuring guest satisfaction and smooth service flow. You will set tables, maintain menu knowledge, and collaborate with teammates across departments to create a memorable experience.

Ideal candidates bring a friendly, outgoing demeanor, strong communication, and banquet serving experience. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays; Food Handler and TABC

Qualifications

• Must have flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for a full shift.
• Must hold current Food Handler and TABC certifications.
• Excellent conversational and teamwork skills.
• Positive, outgoing personality; banquet serving experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set banquet tables to meet function specifications
• Deliver and serve food and beverages, including meals, condiments, and accompaniments
• Ensure menu knowledge and clear tables at the end of the meal period, then deliver to stewarding area while ensuring guest satisfaction
• Respond to guest requests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner
• Assist team members and other departments to maintain positive working relationships
• Assist with side work such as cleaning, stocking, and folding silverware
