Job summary

Shaner Group seeks a courteous Banquet Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences at our events. You will set up tables, greet guests, and serve beverages and courses according to hotel standards. Previous banquet or hospitality experience is preferred.

Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays is required. You will maintain cleanliness of stations, assist with event flow, and respond promptly to guest needs to ensure

Qualifications

• Previous experience in banquet operations and/or hospitality preferred.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers.
• High school graduate or equivalent, some college preferred.
• Minimum age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages.
• ServSafe and/or food safety training.
• Alcohol awareness training (such as TIPS).
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.

Responsibilities

• Set up assigned tables and serve beverages and food orders to guest tables.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment.
• Greet guests, assist seating, and handle guest inquiries during events.
• Monitor guest needs and respond to requests promptly.
