Andaz Miami Beach Resort & Spa is now recruiting a Banquets Server to join our team. Event servers handle food and beverage service at hotel banquet functions, ensuring the space is visually appealing and presenting the menu to guests.

The position requires a high school diploma or relevant training, with at least 1 year in food & beverage or customer service. Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays is required; hotel experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or certificate in relevant training.
• At least 1 year experience in food & beverage or customer service; hotel experience preferred.
• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate weight; stand and walk for extended periods.
• Positive attitude and ability to work under pressure with cooks and staff.

Responsibilities

• Set up event room as requested, including glassware, service ware, and linen.
• Attend pre-shift to learn function particulars and guest expectations.
• Greet guests and respond to requests in a courteous, friendly manner.
• Serve beverages and food in order, maintaining consistency with supervisor.
• Remove dishes promptly as guests finish meals.
• Adhere to all laws and corporate policies for serving alcohol.
• Replenish beverages and check guest satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness of the event space and proper waste disposal.
