Job summary

Rensselaer Banquet Facility in Troy, NY is seeking a friendly Banquet Server to join our catering team. You will provide guests with high-standard food and beverage service at all functions, working with the Banquet Captain to ensure smooth events.

Role requires open availability including weekends and holidays; tips-based position with benefits including PTO, 401K, and health options. Previous banquet or food service experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing and math skills required.
• Food service experience and knowledge of banquet operations preferred.
• Good customer service and interpersonal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret a BEO to set up function areas.
• Assist Captain in buffet setup and service timing.
• Greet and serve guests promptly and courteously.
• Clear tables and assist with post-service duties.
