Highgate Hotels in Key West seeks a Banquet Server to set up and serve food and beverages at banquet events, following hotel standards. You will read BEOs, coordinate with kitchen and service teams, and ensure guest satisfaction while maintaining the banquet space.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, flexibility for long hours, stamina to lift and stand, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced resort environment.

Competenze

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Flexibility for long hours and standing.
• Ability to read and follow Banquet Event Orders (BEO).

Mansioni

• Perform preparatory tasks to ensure timely service.
• Read and interpret BEOs and menu specifics.
• Serve guests in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Respond to guest concerns and communicate with management.
• Set tables according to hotel standards.
• Maintain banquet storeroom in an orderly fashion.
• Clean and reset banquet space after events.
• Prepare room according to BEO and meal functions.
• Follow money-handling procedures when serving.
• Know menu items for each function and describe them accurately.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
