Job summary

The Lodge at Schroon Lake, operated by Olympia Hospitality, seeks a Banquet Server to deliver exceptional guest service during events. You will assist with setup, take orders, and ensure a polished dining experience, including breakdowns at event end.

We value teamwork, attentiveness, and a friendly, guest-focused attitude. Prior banquet or catering experience is preferred; must be able to stand for extended periods and handle high-volume service with a smile.

Qualifications

• Serving and/or set up experience preferred
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol, per state law

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup of banquet rooms and event spaces per event specifications
• Ensure equipment, utensils, and silverware are clean, polished, and properly arranged
• Greet guests, escort to tables, and assist with seating
• Take food and beverage orders and upsell where appropriate
• Serve food and beverages promptly following service standards
• Anticipate guests' needs and provide personalized service
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism
• Clear tables and replenish supplies to maintain a clean dining area
• Assist with event breakdown and post-event cleaning
