Job summary

HHM Hotels is seeking a Banquet Server to set up banquet rooms and serve food and beverages in accordance with guest service and sustainability standards. You will learn function particulars during roll calls and ensure consistent service throughout the event.

Role involves holidays and weekend work, with opportunities for growth into supervisory positions. You will also maintain safety, comply with alcohol-serving rules, and respond to guest requests to enhance the guest experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Food service experience is a plus.
• Ability to remember and recite menu items.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms as instructed by supervisor.
• Attend roll call meetings before events to learn function details.
• Serve food and beverages to guests as directed.
• Replenish beverages and check guest satisfaction.
• Clear and remove dishes as courses end.
• Respond to guest requests and resolve issues.
• Follow state, federal and corporate alcohol serving rules.
• Follow safety procedures and wear required protective gear.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
