Job summary

Omni Oklahoma City Hotel, a 605-room convention center property in downtown Oklahoma City, is seeking a Banquet Server to deliver exceptional guest service at events and daily in-venue service. You will work with culinary and catering teams to ensure high-quality food and beverage presentation, maintain standards, and support smooth event operations.

The role requires hands-on food & beverage knowledge, flexible hours including nights and weekends, and the ability to stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Hands-on food and beverage knowledge and hospitality experience.
• Minimum relevant serving experience in a large convention hotel.
• Willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Strong customer service, detail-oriented, problem-solving.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
• Ability to lift and move moderate weight and stand for long shifts.
• Able to obtain Food Handler certification and ABLE License upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Consistent maintenance and refinement of service standards, ensuring compliance with hotel standards.
• Prepare for health department and inspection readiness.
• Polish china, glass, silver, and holloware; serve food and beverage; set up/break down buffets and stations.
• Execute banquet event setup and breakdown.
• Assist in banquet sidework and equipment cleaning.
• Ensure high-quality meeting room sets, service, and presentation of food and beverages.
• Assist culinary with food and beverage assembly and plate up as needed.
• Report maintenance needs for banquet areas and equipment.
• Maintain furniture, fixtures and equipment to a high standard.
