Job summary

Hard Rock Casino Rockford is seeking a Banquets Server to support banquets and events, from set-up to break-down, including staging areas, breaks, buffets, and plated events. You will deliver food and beverages with a focus on guest satisfaction.

The role requires knowledge of beverage service, wine and cocktails, and the ability to handle special requests while maintaining clean and organized service stations.

Qualifications

• The Secondary school degree is preferred, with at least 2 years of service experience.
• Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus.
• Must obtain and maintain licenses/certifications per Federal, State, and Illinois Gaming Board standards.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
• Casino food & beverage experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down banquet staging areas and service spaces.
• Serve beverages including coffee, tea, cocktails, and wine.
• Provide plated meals, buffets, receptions, and passed hors d’oeuvres.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and accommodate special requests when possible.
• Maintain clean stations and coordinate with other staff during events.
