Job summary

Hard Rock Casino Rockford is seeking a part-time Beverage Server who will provide prompt and courteous service to guests, take orders, promote drinks, and clear tables. The role emphasizes building guest relations, handling payments, and maintaining a clean station in a lively casino environment.

Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, valid Food Handler Card, liquor license, and IGB badge, plus the ability to stay on your feet and work a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Food Handlers Card, Liquor License, and IGB Badge when working.
• Must pass a background check.
• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Must have good oral communication skills.
• Interpersonal skills must include a positive, friendly and outgoing attitude, common courtesy towards others and the ability to deal successfully with stressful situations.
• Ability to be on your feet for long periods.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule.
• Must have the ability to withstand noisy environments.

Responsibilities

• Takes customer drink orders, serves drinks and collects monies in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Adheres to food and beverage policies and State Liquor Laws.
• Completes all required set-up duties on time.
• Always keeps station clean.
• Promotes positive customer relations.
• Responsible for the receipt of monies and settlement of guests’ checks.
• Performs all other related duties assigned by the Food and Beverage Supervisor.
