Job summary

Embassy Suites Rockford Riverfront is seeking a Banquets Server to join our events team. This on-call, event-based role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with shifts varying based on banquet business.

You will greet guests, set up banquet spaces, and ensure top-notch service across events. All team members must obtain and maintain required Food Handler and Alcohol Awareness certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with hotel or related field experience.
• Prior banquet service or hospitality experience preferred.
• Alcohol Awareness and Food Handling certifications, as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with warm hospitality to ensure a memorable service.
• Engage with guests and teammates to maintain lively, seamless service.
• Transform banquet spaces and attend to details for picture-perfect settings.
• Provide efficient service from setup to closing to keep events moving.
• Resolve issues calmly and involve management when needed.
