Job summary

Hard Rock Casino Rockford is seeking a Banquet Houseperson to help execute special events by setting up and breaking down banquet spaces and meeting rooms. You will keep areas clean, assist guests, and report maintenance issues to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Responsibilities include transporting equipment, stocking supplies for events, and collaborating with the banquet team to meet timelines. This role requires 21+ and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must obtain and maintain licenses/certifications per Federal, State, and IGB Regulations.
• Background check required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to work nights, holidays and weekends; flexible shifts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms and meeting spaces per event specs.
• Transport and store banquet furniture and equipment safely.
• Support banquet staff during events; replenish supplies and assist guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas.
• Coordinate with team to ensure timely event setup and breakdown.
• Inspect spaces for maintenance or damages and report issues.
• Order and receive non-food items for the Food & Beverage department.
• Communicate updates and suggestions to supervisor.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and food handling guidelines.
