Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants is seeking a Banquet Server to provide timely and courteous service at banquet events. You will help ensure memorable guest experiences, assist with event setup, and collaborate with the banquet team to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a passion for hospitality, strong food knowledge, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Experience in food & beverage and a valid Food Handler Certificate are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous food & beverage, hospitality, restaurant, banquets or hotel experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of food and wine.
• Ability to get along with staff and guests.
• Passion for creating ridiculously personable experiences!
• Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Food Handler Certificate (if applicable)

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with excellent customer service during banquets.
• Bus and set tables, including condiments as needed.
• Prepare rooms for events (table cloths, dishes, silverware).
• Serve food and drinks during events as required.
• Answer questions related to buffet or menu.
• Lead yourself based on details and guidance from Banquet Captain or Banquet Manager.
• Other duties may be assigned by supervisor.
