Job summary

The Madison Concourse Hotel is seeking friendly, energetic Banquet Servers for breakfast and lunch shifts in Madison, WI. These local student roles start early (as early as 4:00am) with flexible schedules designed for students and second jobs.

Average wage ranges from $18 to $32 per hour, and there is at least potential for a bonus. The team works to deliver excellent guest service, with a pre-employment drug test and background check required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Experience in hospitality or food service is helpful.
• Preferred student status with availability for breakfast and lunch shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work as a team to provide great service to guests during meals.
• Serve plated meals or monitor buffet and replenish as needed.
• Set up water pitchers and table settings before service.
• Lift and carry trays of 8–10 meals to guests.
• Clean up during and after meals.
• Perform side work and other duties as assigned.

• Working as a team to provide great service to guests during the meal
• Serving plated meals or monitoring buffet meals to ensure fresh food is replenished and any used plates removed
• Setting up water pitchers or other table settings prior to the meal
• Lifting and carrying trays with 8-10 meals and serving them to guests
• Cleaning up during and after the meal
• Doing side work, such as rolling silverware and napkins, or cleaning
• Other work duties as assigned
