Job summary

Inn at Spanish Head is seeking a banquet server to support the Banquet Team in Lincoln City, Oregon. You will assist with event setup, service of food and beverages per the BEO, and post-event cleanup, ensuring guest satisfaction and adherence to health/safety policies.

The role emphasizes teamwork, professional appearance, and the ability to stand for long periods while lifting up to 50 pounds. Prior banquet/food service experience is preferred and attendance is essential.

• Maintain assigned and specific side work to ensure event space cleanliness.
• Interact with guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Perform all opening and closing duties as needed.
• Ensure that you comply with Inn at Spanish Head Policies, Health Department and OLCC Laws.
• Perform other duties as requested by the Banquets Manager or Supervisor.
• Maintain the banquet spaces to ensure they are clean, in good repair, and have supplies/equipment.

• Report to work in a neat and clean uniform. Well-Groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential.

Qualifications & Education Requirements:

• High school Diploma or GED.
• Speak, read, write and understand the primary language of the work location.
• Must have prior food service and/or banquet experience.
• Must have professional appearance and excellent customer service skills.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, stoop, bend and lift to 50 pounds.
• Must possess an up-to-date Food Handler’s Card and O.L.C.C. Permit. (or obtaining both permits within 30 days of employment).
• Must maintain a tactful, courteous and cooperative attitude in dealing with managers, guests and peers.
