Ed Oliver Golf Club, located in Wilmington, DE, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Banquet Server! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part ofTroon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

• Prepares function sites and assures meeting rooms are set according to specifications.
• Serves food and beverage items to guests based on established guidelines.
• Sets dining tables, buffets, and other service areas according to Banquet Event Order or as directed.
• Attends and actively participates in pre-shift meetings
• communicates special requests and concerns to the department manager
• Helps to maintain clean banquet and kitchen areas
• Oversees all equipment with care.
• Assists in inventory control and monitoring waste in the banquet or catering area.
• Ensures the guests are provided with excellent customer service by anticipating their needs before they arise.
• Incorporates safe and sanitary work practices throughout job performance.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Maintains exceptional personal hygiene and positive representation of the organization to employees, clients and vendors.
• Performs other duties as required.

• Background in bartending is preferred, but not required.

Physical Demands:

• Frequently stands and walks
• Uses hands; reaches with arms and hands
• Stoops, kneels, crawls or crouches
• Talks or hears. Occasionally sits; climbs or balances.
• Must be able to lift chairs, tables, ice buckets, beer cases, etc.

Certificates/Licenses:

ServSafe Certified (Food & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent.
