Job summary

Ed Oliver Golf Club in Wilmington, DE is seeking a Banquet Server to join Troon Golf, LLC. You will prepare function sites, serve food and beverages, and maintain banquet areas while delivering exceptional guest service.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, weekday and weekend availability, and possibly ServSafe or TIPS certification. Background in bartending is preferred; strong communication in English is helpful, and you’ll work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares function sites and sets meeting rooms according to specifications.
• Serves food and beverage items to guests based on established guidelines.
• Sets dining tables, buffets, and other service areas according to Banquet Event Order or as directed.
• Attends and actively participates in pre-shift meetings.
• Communicates special requests to the department manager.
• Maintains banquet and kitchen areas.
• Oversees all equipment with care.
• Assists in inventory control and monitoring waste in the banquet or catering area.
• Ensures the guests are provided with excellent customer service by anticipating their needs.
• Incorporates safe and sanitary work practices throughout job performance.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Maintains exceptional personal hygiene and positive representation of the organization to employees, clients and vendors.
• Performs other duties as required.

Certificates/Licenses:
