Job description

Join to apply for the Banquet Server role at Coury Hospitality.

Responsibilities
  1. Read BEO and know how to complete a set-up.
  2. Set tables in assigned area correctly and uniformly.
  3. Keep station neat and clean while servicing guests per established policies and procedures.
  4. Use proper in-room clearing and aisle tray breakdown for buffet or other special foodservice tables and equipment.
  5. Assist Banquet Captains in setting up/breaking down buffet or other special foodservice tables and equipment.
  6. Greet and serve guests following guidelines set by policies/procedures regarding the service of food and beverage.
  7. Follow all guest check and money-handling procedures when serving à la carte and beverage orders.
  8. Complete assigned side work.
  9. Assist team in setting up function rooms.
  10. Maintain cleanliness of the BOH storage and walkways.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned by the Cabaret & Events Manager or Food & Beverage Manager.
  12. Extend total checks, double-check for accuracy, and have hosts sign them.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Excellent planning, organization, and guest service skills.
  • Strong motivational, leadership, and training abilities.
  • Outstanding leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to push, stand, stoop, bend, and lift items weighing up to 25 pounds repeatedly.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
Experience

Banquet experience preferred.
