Job Summary

To provide an exceptional guest experience throughout the entire event, ensuring professional service and guest satisfaction.

Essential Functions

• Assist with the setup and breakdown of the banquet area
• Relay food and beverage orders to banquet guests
• Follow specific banquet instructions including checklists, contracts, room diagrams, and inventory sheets
• Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
• Relay important information about orders, allergies, and special requests
• Assist captain with liquor inventory and preparation of ingredients for mixed beverages
• Accurately account for and balance all sales and receipts
• Complete financial checkout according to SOP

Requirements

Qualifications

• Prefer at least 2 years of full-service banquet experience or equivalent
• Knowledge of menu items, specials, wine and liquor lists, and liquor laws
• Understanding of restaurant and banquet room layouts
• Professional appearance and mannerisms
• Ability to stand and walk for entire shift
• Transport food to 4 guests in a single trip until all are served
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
