Job summary

Endicott College’s Wylie Inn and Conference Center on Boston’s North Shore is seeking Full Time Banquet Servers to join our team. The position offers a dynamic campus community with access to campus facilities and on-site event venues.

As a member of the Endicott College team, you will help set up banquet rooms, greet guests, serve food and beverages, and ensure service remains consistent with the Banquet Captain’s directions during high-volume events.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Work well under pressure during high-volume events.
• Positive attitude and team spirit.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet room as instructed by Banquet Captain to include linen, service ware and glassware.
• Attend roll call meetings before events to learn function particulars, including guest and hotel expectations.
• Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Serve the food and/or beverage in the order and to the expectation of the Banquet Captain to ensure consistency in the order throughout the banquet.
• Promptly bus dishes as guests complete each course and/or meal at the end of the meal or function.

Position Overview The Wylie Inn and Conference Center is seeking Full Time Banquet Servers to join their team of dedicated professionals The Wylie Inn & Conference Center employees are part of the Endicott College community and share in the beautiful campus offerings. Endicott is located 20 miles north of Boston and accessible by public transportation. The parking is free and the beautiful beaches are close by! Situated on a picturesque stretch of the Atlantic Coast on Boston’s North Shore, the Wylie Inn and Conference Center at Endicott College offers well appointed, comfortable accommodations with an on-site café restaurant and bar; state of the art IACC certified conference center and an elegant social event venue, upper Manor. The Wylie Inn and Conference Center is ideal for a weekend getaway, retreat or conference. In compliance with Massachusetts pay transparency law, the hourly pay range for this position is $18.00-20.00 per hour. Endicott College considers factors such as (but not limited to) job responsibilities, relevant experience, skills, internal equity, and external market data when determining pay. The final hourly rate is determined by the Human Resources Office based on these factors. This range reflects base pay only and does not include benefits or other compensation.
