Job summary

Endicott College is seeking a dedicated Banquet Server to assist with event setups and deliver exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include setting up banquet rooms, greeting guests, serving food, and maintaining a clean environment. Job description

Location

Endicott College, 20 miles north of Boston, Massachusetts. Free parking is available on site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up banquet room as instructed by Banquet Captain to include linen, service ware and glassware
  • Attend roll call meetings before events to learn function particulars, including guest and hotel expectations
  • Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner
  • Serve food and/or beverage in the order and to the expectation of the Banquet Captain to ensure consistency throughout the banquet
  • Promptly bus dishes as guests complete each course and/or meal at the end of the meal or function
Community Engagement
  • Be an active participant in the life of the College by attending and supporting key events like Commencement, Homecoming, and other all‑hands‑on‑deck gatherings; show a spirit of collaboration and community involvement, including volunteering when possible
Other Duties

Reports to the Food Director with direct supervision.

In compliance with Massachusetts pay‑transparency law, the hourly pay for this position is $18.50 per hour, increasing to $21.50 for wedding events. The final hourly rate is determined by the Human Resources Office based on relevant experience, internal equity, and market data.
