Job description

Our busy events team is seeking a banquet server ready to go above and beyond to provide excellent customer service to our special event guests. We need someone courteous and attentive to welcome guests, serve meals and drinks, clear plates and utensils, and meet any special orders or needs that our guests may have. You will be working closely with other servers, banquet captains, and kitchen staff, so we need a server with a team-first attitude. Responsibilities

1. Offer an outstanding guest experience from the beginning to the end of each banquet event
2. Serve appetizers, main course meals, desserts, and other items, such as drinks, to banquet guests
3. Remove plates, replace utensils, and keep an eye out for spills or any special needs from guests
4. Verify that you and your team members are following relevant food handling safety requirements
5. Refill guests' glasses as necessary or requested with coffee, water, or other drinks

Qualifications

1. Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED)
2. Outstanding time management and organizational skills
3. Superior communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with guests and coworkers
4. This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service
5. Some experience in the food service industry is preferred

Compensation

$7.50 - $12.50 hourly
