Position Summary

The duties of a Banquet/Catering Server include providing exceptional customer service throughout the entire event to ensure the highest standards of customer satisfaction.

Successful candidates must be friendly, honest, and able to build strong relationships. They should strive to provide a seamless experience, be flexible to clients and guests' needs, and communicate effectively to deliver quality services and products.

Compensation and Benefits

This role pays an hourly wage of $16.00 plus tips.

Benefits for part-time roles include: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching.

This position will remain open until June 30, 2025.

Responsibilities

1. Read and understand Banquet Event Orders.
2. Carry at least 8 entrees per tray.
3. Provide fine dining food and beverage service to guests, maintaining CFG Bank Arena's premium standards.
4. Initiate and maintain friendly, professional contact with guests, anticipating and meeting their needs.
5. Set up and maintain food and beverage stations throughout the venue, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
6. Maintain inventory of food and beverage stations.
7. Keep event areas and front-of-house staging areas tidy and organized.
8. Participate in setup and cleanup of service items.
9. Work independently during slower times.
10. Contribute to a safe and clean work environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred; equivalent experience may be substituted.
• Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcoholic drinks.
• 1-2 years’ experience in catering, events, food & beverage, or customer service preferred.
