Hollywood Casino St. Louis is seeking a Banquet Server to support events with setup, beverage service, and guest-centric dining. You will coordinate with team members to ensure outstanding guest experiences and seamless service during performances and banquets.

Starting pay is $7.50 per hour plus tips (typical tip range $22–$24 per hour). Availability including the holiday season is required, and you should be comfortable working in a fast-paced casino environment.

Qualificações

• Previous Banquet and/or restaurant service experience.
• Knowledge of proper restaurant sanitation procedures.
• Outgoing personality with exceptional work habits.
• Open availability to work Holiday Season (Dec 1–23).
• Read/write in English with good verbal communication.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, fractions, decimals).
• Ability to respond to visual and aural cues.
• Maintain a positive attitude under stress.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Multitask efficiently and be physically mobile (lift up to 30 lbs).

Responsabilidades

• Sets buffet lines and breaks with proper equipment and decor.
• Sets tables with silverware, napkins, condiments, centerpieces.
• Prepares and serves beverages; serves plated meals.
• Removes used plates, glassware, and silverware from service areas.
• Anticipates and fulfills guests' needs throughout events.
• Provides optimal guest service and responds to guest concerns.
• Keeps workspace clean and organized for timely event breakdown.
• Coordinates with Banquet staff and other restaurant personnel.
• Adheres to policies in an ethical manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

As a Banquet Server , you will:

Pay: $7.50 per hour + tips (Tip Avg. $22 to $24 per hour)| Shift: Varies

• Sets buffet lines and breaks with proper equipment, supplies, and decor.
• Sets tables with proper silverware, napkins, condiments, centerpieces, etc.
• Prepares and sets/serves beverages.
• Serves plated meals to guests.
• Removes used plates, glassware, silverware, etc., from assigned areas.
• Anticipates and provides for guests' needs throughout entire function.
• Provides optimal guest service to all guests and responds efficiently to guest concerns.
• Maintains a clean and organized workspace to ensure timely break down of banquet events.
• Ensures that future events are set up for success.
• Polishes plates, silverware, and glassware.
• Responsible for sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, etc.
• Coordinates with Banquet staff and other restaurant personnel to provide excellent guest service.
• Various other duties may be assigned.
• Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner.

Applicant must be at least 18 years of age

• Previous Banquet and/or restaurant service experience.
• Knowledge of proper restaurant sanitation procedures.

• Must be able to read and write in English and have good verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, etc.
• Ability to respond to visual and aural cues.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude.
• Ability to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations.
• Able to work independently with little or no direct supervision.
• Able to multi-task efficiently.
• Physically mobile with ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 30 lbs., and the ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas.
