Job summary

HM Alpha Hotels & Resorts is seeking a courteous Banquet Server to support events at Hilton Indianapolis. You will set up banquet rooms, serve guests, clear tables, and ensure clean, organized work areas.

The role requires a high school diploma, prior guest service or banquet experience is a plus, and the position is hourly with various shifts. Medical, dental, vision, and other benefits are offered, including disability and life insurance, EAP, and a 401(k) with match.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet function rooms with linens, China, silverware, glassware, centerpieces, beverage stations, and other required service items.
• Serve food and beverages to banquet guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Clear tables and remove dishes, linens, and service items following banquet events.
• Ensure proper storage of banquet equipment, supplies, and perishable food items.
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary work areas throughout each shift.
• Prepare for upcoming events by folding napkins, restocking condiments, and completing other banquet preparation tasks.
• Provide team support by relieving coworkers for scheduled breaks as needed.
• Greet guests warmly and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Other duties as assigned.

This position directly influences the success of banquets, conferences, weddings, and special events through efficient preparation, service, and cleanup that reflects the highest standards of hospitality.

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior guest service or server experience preferred; banquet/catering experience a plus.

This position is an hourly position at $3.25an hour.
