Primary Purpose:
The primary purpose of the Banquet Associate is to provide guests with an excellent banquet experience.
Work Performed:
TheBanquetAssociatewill be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments:
Set up/ breakdownbanquet meeting space per Banquet Event Order instructions, including tables, table complements (salt, pepper, sugar, breadsticks, etc.),table linens, table settings,center pieces, dishes,audio-visual equipment, and all otherevent provisions;
Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of banquet spaces, before, during and afterevents;
Maintain communication with the guest contact person for guest needsand provide excellent customer service to allguests;
Serve all food and beverages to guests per companystandards;
Observe Health Department guidelines for food handling andsanitation;
Manageaudio-visual equipmentduringevents;
Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, including reporting accidents,injuriesand unsafe work conditions to management;and
Any and allother work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.
Qualifications:
Preferred Prior Experience:
6monthsserving experiencefor medium to large groups
Preferred Education:
High School diploma or equivalent
Required Licenses/ Certification:
Food Safety certificate or complete training during initial 90 days.
Alcohol certification or complete training during initial 90 days.
Physical:
Ability to lift, pull and push up to 50lbs.
Ability to bend and squat repeatedly Ability to walk and stand for duration of scheduled shift
Other:
Flexible to working days, early mornings, evenings,nights,weekendsand holidays.

Trabajo realizado: El/La Asociado/a de Banquetes tendrá las siguientes funciones, responsabilidades y asignaciones: Montar y desmontar el espacio de reunión para banquetes según las instrucciones de la Orden de Evento de Banquete, incluyendo mesas, complementos (sal, pimienta, azúcar, palitos de pan, etc.), mantelería, arreglos de mesa, centros de mesa, vajilla, equipo audiovisual y demás provisiones para el evento.
Supervisar y mantener la limpieza, el saneamiento y la organización de los espacios para banquetes, antes, durante y después de los eventos.
Mantener la comunicación con la persona de contacto para atender las necesidades de los invitados y brindar un excelente servicio al cliente a todos ellos; Servir todos los alimentos y bebidas a los invitados según los estándares de la empresa.
Cumplir con las directrices del Departamento de Salud para la manipulación y el saneamiento de alimentos.
Administrar el equipo audiovisual durante los eventos; Cumplir con todas las políticas y procedimientos de seguridad de la empresa, incluyendo la notificación de accidentes, lesiones y condiciones de trabajo inseguras a la gerencia.
Cualquier otro trabajo requerido para cumplir con el propósito principal del puesto.
Experiencia previa preferida: 6 meses de experiencia en servicio para grupos medianos y grandes. Licencias/Certificaciones requeridas: Certificado de seguridad alimentaria o capacitación completa durante los primeros 90 días. Certificado de alcohol o capacitación completa durante los primeros 90 días. Requisitos físicos: Capacidad para levantar, jalar y empujar hasta 22.7 kg (50 lb).
