Primary Purpose:

The Banquet Associate is responsible for providing guests with an excellent banquet experience.

Work Performed:

The Banquet Associate will perform the following duties:

• Set up and breakdown banquet meeting spaces according to Banquet Event Order instructions, including tables, table complements (salt, pepper, sugar, breadsticks, etc.), linens, table settings, centerpieces, dishes, audio-visual equipment, and other event provisions.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of banquet spaces before, during, and after events.
• Communicate effectively with guest contacts to meet guest needs and deliver excellent customer service.
• Serve all food and beverages to guests per company standards.
• Follow Health Department guidelines for food handling and sanitation.
• Manage audio-visual equipment during events.
• Adhere to all safety and security policies, reporting accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management.
• Perform any other duties necessary to fulfill the primary purpose of the role.

Qualifications:

Preferred Experience: At least 6 months serving experience for medium to large groups.

Preferred Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Required Licenses/Certifications: Food Safety certificate and Alcohol certification, or complete training within the first 90 days.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 50 lbs; bend and squat repeatedly; walk and stand for the duration of the shift.

Other: Flexibility to work days, early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
