White Lodging at Sheraton Erie seeks a banquet team member to assist in setup, service, and teardown of events, including coffee breaks, meals, and bar operations. Weekend availability is required to ensure flawless delivery of banquets.

You will support Event Managers in owning and executing banquets, maintaining a polished appearance and providing outstanding hospitality to guests.

Summary:
This is a highly visible and key role responsible for the successful set-up, service, and tear down of all Banquet events to include coffeebreaks, 3-meal dining, and bar operations. This person is responsible for assisting the Event Managers in the successful ownershipand operational execution of Banquet Functions and duties. Must be available weekends!

What You’ll Do

• Responsible for the successful set-up, service, clean-up, and tear-down of banquet events.
• Set tables, buffets, bars, and snack breaks in assigned areas correctly and accurately.
• Professionally serve food and beverages butler-style, tableside, and from buffets.
• Monitor tables, buffets, and breaks to keep them clean, stocked, and visually appealing.
• Assist other members of the banquet team to deliver a phenomenal event that exceeds guest expectations.
• Be an ambassador of the hotel by maintaining a neat and professional appearance.
• Anticipate guest needs and offer exemplary hospitality while always exhibiting professionalism and friendliness.
• Be knowledgeable of all menu items, contents, preparation methods, and garnishes; accurately answer any guest questions.
• Perform all cleaning, opening, and closing duties as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
