Job summary

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel El Paso Downtown is seeking friendly, energetic individuals to join our team as Temporary Part-Time Banquet Servers for the holiday season. You will support events with attentive, professional service.

Ideal candidates have a positive attitude, strong customer service and teamwork, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior banquet or hospitality experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

What you will be doing

• Review BEO's for menu details, room setup, food, beverage and audio visual needs.
• Assist the set up staff in table set up, buffet set up, bar set up, etc.
• Check quality and presentation of food before serving.
• Serve beverages for the function.
• Provide prompt and professional service to all guests.
• Communicate with Kitchen keeping update on any changes.

Requirements

• Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills
• Previous banquet, restaurant, or hospitality experience is a plus, but not required
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
