The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel El Paso Downtown is seeking a friendly Temporary Part-Time Banquet Bartender to support our holiday event schedule.

You will prepare and serve beverages, set up bars, assist banquet staff, verify guest age, and maintain supplies in a fast-paced hotel environment. Previous bartending or service experience preferred; certification preferred.

• Ability to remain calm and professional during busy events
• Previous bartending, restaurant, or banquet experience preferred
• Bartending certification or alcohol-service certification preferred
• Must meet all applicable legal requirements for serving alcohol
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

What you will be doing

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to banquet guests
• Provide friendly, professional, and attentive service throughout each event
• Set up portable bar with the appropriate items (as needed): garnishes, glasses, ice, all liquor requested for function, mixes, straws, napkins, etc.
• Maintain bar supplies throughout the function.
• Communicate effectively with the banquet team and event staff
• Verify guest age and follow all applicable alcohol-service requirements
• Monitor alcohol consumption and follow responsible alcohol-service practices
• Using POS system to ring bar purchases for guest's drinks.
