Job summary

The Box Elder Events Center in Box Elder, SD is hiring for experienced hospitality staff. This role offers opportunities across exciting new events and a diverse range of duties, with a supportive LIV Hospitality backdrop and perks such as hotel discounts, dining deals, WaTiki passes, Starbucks offers, and more. Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older.
• Experience as bartender/server preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Money-handling and cash register experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Setup, execution, and clean up for events.
• Greet guests and accommodate guests' needs with exceptional service.
• Deliver food and beverages from staging areas to guests.
• Learn and practice buffet, plated, and reception-style meal services (training provided).
• Perform all side-work duties.
• Maintain clean service areas at all times.
• Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

• Greet guests and be responsible for accommodating all guests' needs at the event; providing exceptional service to every guest
• Deliver food and beverages from staging areas to guests
• Learn and practice buffet, plated, and reception-style meal services (training provided)
• Perform all side-work duties
• Maintain clean service areas at all times
• Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs

Requirements:

• Must be 16 years or older
• Previous experience as a bartender/server is preferred but not required
• Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills
• Previous money-handling and cash register experience is preferred
• Maintain a professional and personable appearance
• Ability to work in a standing position for up to 8 hours
• Ability to carry trays of 25+ pounds
• Ability to work under time pressure constraints with a positive attitude
