Box Elder Events Center in Box Elder, SD, is seeking an experienced team member to assist with event setup, service, and wrap-up. You will greet guests and deliver food and beverages from staging areas to guests, providing attentive service throughout the event.

• Must be 16 years or older.

QualificationsResponsibilities:

• Setup, execution, and clean up for events
• Greet guests and be responsible for accommodating all guests' needs at the event; providing exceptional service to every guest
• Deliver food and beverages from staging areas to guests
• Learn and practice buffet, plated, and reception-style meal services (training provided)
• Perform all side-work duties
• Maintain clean service areas at all times
• Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs

Requirements:

• Must be 16 years or older
• Previous experience as a bartender/server is preferred but not required
• Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills
• Previous money-handling and cash register experience is preferred
• Maintain a professional and personable appearance
• Ability to work in a standing position for up to 8 hours
• Ability to carry trays of 25+ pounds
• Ability to work under time pressure constraints with a positive attitude
