Job summary

Cadillac Jacks Gaming Resort in Deadwood, SD seeks friendly bartenders/servers to set up, greet guests, and deliver food and beverages during events. You will learn buffet, plated, and reception-style service and provide exceptional guest experiences.

Full-time associates receive health/dental/vision/life, a 401(k) with match after one year, discounts on hotel rooms and restaurants, and daily pay through ZayZoon. Must be 16+, able to stand 8 hours, and no prior experience required.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Money-handling and cash register experience is preferred.
• Maintain a professional and personable appearance.
• Ability to stand up to 8 hours and carry trays.

Responsibilities

• Setup, execution, and clean up for events
• Greet guests and be responsible for accommodating all guests' needs at the event; providing exceptional service to every guest
• Deliver food and beverages from staging areas to guests
• Learn and practice buffet, plated, and reception-style meal services (training provided)
• Perform all side-work duties
• Maintain clean service areas at all times
• Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older
• Previous experience as a bartender/server is preferred but not required
• Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills
• Previous money-handling and cash register experience is preferred
• Maintain a professional and personable appearance
• Ability to work in a standing position for up to 8 hours
• Ability to carry trays of 25+ pounds
• Ability to work under time pressure constraints with a positive attitude
