Job summary

Prairie Meadows in Altoona, IA is seeking friendly banquet servers to deliver prompt service at events. You will read BEOs, serve food and beverages, set up and tear down, and ensure a clean, safe environment.

This role offers flexible hours with earning potential from tips. Prior server experience is welcome but not required; strong people skills and the ability to stand long periods are essential.

Responsibilities

• Serving food and beverages in a prompt and professional manner.
• Assisting in the set up and tear down of banquet-related equipment such as tables and table settings.
• Maintaining a neat and clean atmosphere.
• Reading Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and ensuring all contract requirements are met prior to the start of the event.
• Being attentive and removing plates once guest is finished, refilling water glasses as needed, and addressing any other guest requests.
• Adhering to safety, sanitation, and alcohol control policies.
• Performing other related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Requirements:
