Job summary

The Trade Hotel Milwaukee is seeking a Banquet Prep Cook to join our kitchen team, where you'll prepare ingredients, assist chefs, and help maintain a fast-paced, high-volume service environment while upholding food safety and teamwork.

Starting at $18-$20/hour, experienced candidates may qualify for higher wages. Open to morning and day shifts with occasional evenings; we offer mentorship, development opportunities, and team perks within an award-winning, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of kitchen experience.
• Highest standards of service for guest satisfaction and profitability.
• Creative, organized, innovative and even tempered personality.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment.
• Knowledge of a variety of kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, slicing, and measuring according to recipes and chef instructions.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation following food safety and sanitation standards.
• Label and store food items properly to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
• Assist with basic cooking tasks and restock supplies to support the kitchen team during service.
