Job summary

Oak View Group is seeking a Catering Supervisor to oversee the Palm Beach County Convention Center banquet operations. The role focuses on planning, execution, and supervision of plated meals, buffets, receptions, and curbside activations to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

Flexible weekday and weekend shifts with morning to evening availability are required. The position pays an hourly rate of $28.00–$30.00 for part-time work, with benefits including 401(k) savings and matching.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; some college preferred.
• 2-3 years’ supervisory experience in banquet operations, catering, hospitality, or related venues.
• Knowledge of banquet service standards and event execution.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Catering Sales Managers to coordinate catered services from order to completion.
• Serve as primary on-site contact for banquet clients, event managers, and guests.
• Assist with new banquet service initiatives, menu presentations, and service enhancements.
• Prepare and inspect banquet rooms, stations, and service areas per BEOs and standards.
• Monitor operations during events, adjust staffing and service as needed while maintaining quality.
• Coordinate plated meals, buffets, hors d’oeuvres, receptions, and beverages for events.
