Job summary

The Barnett in New Orleans is seeking a Banquet Service Supervisor to oversee all banquet events from planning to breakdown. You will partner with Catering, Sales and Culinary teams to ensure flawless service for meetings, conferences, and social events.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, reviewing BEOs, coordinating with the kitchen and bar, and maintaining inventory and equipment. The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and outstanding guest service.

Qualifications

• 3 years of high-volume banquet service experience required.
• Hotel/resort banquet experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Safe Server Alcohol & Food certification required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all banquet service operations and events.
• Reviews Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and confirms A/V needs.
• Supervises and trains banquet service staff.
• Coordinates with Catering, Sales and Culinary teams to ensure quality service.
• Manages staff shifts and timetables.
• Acts as ambassador at the bar during high volume hours.
• Ensures proper handling of equipment and supplies.
