The Barnett, a restored Art Deco hotel in New Orleans, seeks an experienced Banquet Supervisor to oversee all banquet service operations. You will plan, set up, and coordinate events, ensuring on-time delivery and exceptional service in collaboration with Catering, Sales and Culinary teams.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of high-volume banquet experience, strong leadership, and a customer-focused approach.

Competenze

• 3 years of high-volume banquet service experience.
• Hotel/resort banquet experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol.
• Safe Server Alcohol & Food certification required.
• High school or equivalent education.
• Strong leadership and customer relations skills.

Mansioni

• Oversees banquet service operations and events.
• Ensure events are on time and communicate changes.
• Review BEOs, confirm A/V needs, and supervise staff.
• Train and coach banquet staff; manage shifts.
• Coordinate with Catering, Sales, Food & Beverage and culinary teams.
• Attend meetings and liaise with meeting planners to meet needs.
