Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a Banquet Manager at Skamania Lodge in Stevenson, WA. You will own the Banquets Department, lead a large hourly workforce, and ensure flawless event execution within budget and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in banquet, convention services, or hotel F&B leadership, including 2+ years managing high-volume banquets.
• Experience with banquet operations, event execution, BEO interpretation, and scheduling.
• Able to forecast, plan staffing, control labor and expenses, and lead multi-level teams.

Responsibilities

• Own overall performance of the Banquets Department, balancing event execution with financial and operational standards.
• Develop weekly staffing strategies based on BEOs and forecasted business levels.
• Manage departmental expenses within budgets and explain variances to leadership.
• Coach and develop Banquets leaders and associates; ensure accountability and performance.
• Lead assistants and Captains to independently run events and shifts with sufficient leadership depth.
• Review BEOs, forecasts, and upcoming business to anticipate staffing, equipment, and inventory needs.
• Attend pre-conference meetings and client touchpoints to ensure confident event execution.
• Maintain payroll, timekeeping, and inventory records and ensure compliance with policies.
