Job summary

Qualifications

• Washington State Food Handler Card or ability to obtain.
• MAST certification or ability to obtain.
• Previous food service or hospitality experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of departmental policies and service standards.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly.
• Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
• Be familiar with hotel services and local attractions to answer inquiries.
• Resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Monitor cleanliness and organization of assigned areas.
• Abide by state liquor regulations, including restrictions on minors and intoxicated individuals.
• Complete pre-function side work and closing duties.
• Greet guests and assist with seating at tables.
• Serve food and non-alcoholic beverages per function requirements.
• Clear courses and remove tabletop items as required.
• Set up, monitor, and replenish coffee breaks and buffet tables as needed.
