The Westin Chattanooga is seeking a hands-on Banquet Manager to lead a department of 20–50 team members across captains, servers, bartenders, and setup crew. You will be the face of high-profile events, ensuring flawless execution and guest satisfaction at every step.

You will refine systems, train staff, manage budgets, and ensure service, billing, and compliance meet our standards, while collaborating with culinary, events, and sales teams to create unforgettable experiences.

• Deep knowledge of banquet operations and best practices.
• Self-starter who identifies problems and fixes them.
• Execution-focused with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to stay calm and lead during high-pressure moments.
• Excellent communication skills in person, phone, and email.

Responsabilités

• Lead execution of banquets from setup through breakdown, serving as the point person during events.
• Fine-tune operating systems and processes for efficiency and quality.
• Identify gaps, fix issues, and revisit basics when needed.
• Train and develop captains and banquet staff for confident execution.
• Handle client escalations with professionalism and care.
• Maintain high standards for billing, guest counts, service, and presentation.
• Collaborate with culinary, event management, and sales teams to elevate events.
• Manage labor costs and scheduling to hit budget targets.
