Job summary

The Westin Cincinnati is seeking a Banquets Chef to lead culinary execution for banquets, outlets, and the team cafeteria. You will work closely with the Executive Chef to maintain quality, cost controls, and service standards while keeping the kitchen organized, clean, and compliant with safety regulations.

With a minimum of 3 years of progressive banquet kitchen experience and supervisory responsibilities, you’ll train staff, manage recipes, and ensure on-time delivery for events, while

• Minimum 3 years of progressive banquet kitchen experience in a hotel or related field, with supervisory experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coach kitchen staff.
• Ability to manage costs, recipes, and quality for events.
• Capable of working under high-pressure situations and maintaining composure.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and team members warmly to set the tone for events.
• Attend events on time and adapt to hotel event schedules.
• Maintain professional uniform and nametag as part of standards.
• Ensure kitchen safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance.
• Engage guests and coworkers with a positive, helpful attitude.
• Assist in cost control, recipe organization, and introducing new dishes.
• Coach and develop kitchen staff in line with Aimbridge Hospitality standards.
